Cast stone details for neoclassical mansion

This opulent elegant mansion has recently been completed in Surrey and the house is set in 1.7 acres of manicured gardens with paved terraces, on a private development in Weybridge.

Accessed via a grand gated entrance with a resin bound aggregate driveway leading up to the main house, the mansion features eight bedroom suites and an extra large garage block suitable for many limousines.

The mansion has been designed to be a real family home with the precision of neoclassical detailing, and extensive use has been made of cast stone from UKCSA Full Member Pennine Stone Limited to detail the new private house.

The developer has stated “The mansion has been built using some of the finest materials and craftsmen from around the world”, and that includes cast stone architectural dressings in TecLite ®, a fibre reinforced cast stone product (FRCS), manufactured and supplied by Pennine Stone.

Cast stone items supplied by Pennine Stone include the ornate columns, capitals and pediment of both the main entrance portico and the rear portico. Pennine Stone window cills and heads, ornate lattice work panels and extensive string courses, band courses and cornices are also used around the building.
