Cast stone used for prestigious development
Located in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush, Lime Grove Mews combines classic English architecture with contemporary designer luxury. This exclusive development by St James of 20 Regency-style town houses and 49 elegant apartments makes extensive use of architectural cast stone details from UKCSA Full Member Marshalls Bricks and Masonry (formerly Edenhall / GreconUK)
The bespoke stonework was used in combination with mellow London stock brick and render to reflect the surrounding Victorian streetscape. An array of high quality cast stone details were supplied including porticos, window surrounds and brackets, heads and cills, gables and finials, brackets, lintel details, copings and pier caps.
Part of the Berkelely Group, St James has a reputation as a design-conscious developer who regenerates redundant sites, in this case a disused council highways depot which was demolished and the site cleared. The development was designed by AMOS Architecture + Interiors.
