Leviat’s presence in the UK market dates back to 1882, when an industrialist named George Clark founded a steel fabrication company in Sheffield which was to be the origins of Ancon. In the 1980s, Helifix was founded, the originator of the one-piece helical wall tie, and Halfen expanded to the UK from Germany.

This group of construction accessories companies united to form Leviat in 2020. As Leviat, they are continuing their long tradition of providing clients across the UK with innovative products, engineered solutions and localised customer support.
