Inspired by the timeless quality of London’s residential squares.
This stunning collection of apartments and townhouses inspired by the timeless quality of London’s residential squares. The project utilised a mix of wet-cast and fibre reinforced cast stone, supplied by UKCSA Full Member Pennine Stone Limited over a period of fifteen months concluding in early 2017.
All properties feature classical architectural detailing with extensive use of both standard and bespoke cast stonework, including impressive portico entrances, window surrounds, band courses & copings.
The UKCSA cast stone manufacturing Full Member Pennine Stone, had to undertake a higher level of project management on the scheme as the site was limited in both access and storage.
The building itself, although a series of townhouses was built as 3 large footprints, and as such the buildings were built at accelerated pace. High levels of co-ordination were required to ensure components were supplied at the correct time to allow a constant flow of stone in line with the build. In order for this to happen, a full service was provided by Pennine Stone, which started from meeting the architects to providing detailed working drawings and working with the site managers to meet critical deliveries.
It was also critical that all concerned with the project, not least the end users, had their expectations met.
The images of the project shown here, indicate that these goals were fully achieved, to create a truly stunning development.
