Henry Boot Developments acquired the former Co-operative department store in Nottingham
city centre for redevelopment to prime retail, leisure, office and residential accommodation.
The skilful transformation of this historically important building and its unique original features has provided Nottingham with the most prominent mixed use scheme within the East Midlands.
HB Developments chose UKCSA member Haddonstone to provide the cast stone as a result of their previous experience in dealing with historical buildings. The cast stone was extensively used throughout the project for wall cladding, architectural dressings and pier caps and copings.
The completed development won the "Mixed-Use Development of the Year" award for 2007.
