UKCSA "Excellence in the Use of Cast Stone" 2018 Awards

All entries from cast stone manufacturing Full Members of the UKCSA, for projects that had used the Members’ own cast stone and been substantially completed in 2017, have now been judged for the UK Cast Stone Association (UKCSA) 2018 "Excellence in the use of Cast Stone" awards competition. Best Multiple Housing Development Cast Stone Project

The Winners will be announced at the UKCSA 2018 AGM meeting in April 2018.

Situated in the Victorian Seaside resort of Clevedon on the Severn estuary, this residential project consisted of both a combination new build and refurbishment for the conversion of the former Royal Pier Hotel, with UKCSA Member GreconUK's wet cast stone product throughout.

The UKCSA 2017 "Excellence in the use of Cast Stone" awards competition was open to entries from cast stone manufacturing Full Members of the UKCSA, for projects that had used the Members’ own cast stone and been substantially completed in 2016. Further details on the project entries, and further images, may be seen on these Projects pages of the UKCSA web site.The Winners were announced at the UKCSA 2017 AGM meeting, with the Professionals Choice Award being judged and presented by Mr Martin Fear, President of The Concrete Society, and the Peoples Choice Award being voted for by clients, specifiers and users of cast stone on this web site, and presented by Mr Andy Cotton, Chair UKCSA.
